What is CNC?

CNC is an abbreviation of Computer Numerical Control Machine Tool. It is an automatic machine tool equipped with a program control system. The control system can logically process programs having control code or other symbolic instruction specifications and decode them, thereby causing the machine tool to act and machine parts.

Components:

Host: The main body of CNC machine tools, including the machine body, column, spindle, feed mechanism and other mechanical components. Used to complete various cutting machine parts.

CNC device: The core of CNC machine tools, including hardware (printed circuit board, CRT monitor, key box, tape reader, etc.) and corresponding software, for inputting digitized part programs, and completing input information storage and data conversion, Interpolation operations and various control functions.

Drive device: The drive component of the CNC machine actuator, including the spindle drive unit, feed unit, spindle motor, and feed motor. The spindle and feed drive are controlled by the electric or electrohydraulic servo system under the control of the numerical control device. When several feeds are linked, the positioning, straight line, plane curve and space curve can be processed.

Auxiliary devices: Some necessary components of CNC machine tools to ensure the operation of CNC machine tools such as cooling, chip removal, lubrication, lighting, and monitoring. It includes hydraulic and pneumatic devices, chip evacuation devices, exchange tables, numerical control turrets, and numerically-controlled indexing heads, as well as tools and monitoring and inspection devices.

Programming and other ancillary equipment can be used to program and store parts outside the machine.
